  • Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented entry-level professional for the position of Analyst in the Sustainability team, which is part of the Corporate Governance area. Sustainability contributes to the fund’s value creation objective through analysis and engagement with standard setters and portfolio companies on sustainability topics. 

    The Role
    As an Analyst in Sustainability you will contribute to research aimed at informing the fund’s assessments, engagements and initiatives on sustainability. The role offers the right person an opportunity to analyse and support financially motivated dialogue with companies on sustainability matters. You will work alongside experienced analysts within Sustainability and across the Corporate Governance area, benefitting from their topical expertise. Quantitatively inclined individuals with a topical interest and a good understanding of economics and finance are encouraged to apply. 
    The position is based in London and will report to the Head of Sustainability. 
    Main responsibilities
    • Conducting research and analysis on sustainability topics to support engagement with standard-setters, portfolio companies and other stakeholders
    • Preparing quantitative and qualitative sustainability assessments and reports, as required
    • Contributing to models and tools to enhance the availability and use of sustainability data across Norges Bank Investment Management areas
    • Providing support to ongoing sustainability projects 
    • Contributing to a hardworking, high-performing team 

    Main qualifications 
    • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, law or other relevant field with strong academic records 
    • Experience from sustainability analysis, volume research and quantitative analysis
    • Good understanding of quantitative methods and analysis
    • Investment mind-set and the ability to take initiative
    • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
    • Creative and structured with strong attention to detail
    • Proactive and self-driven work style and a good team player

  • Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results-orientated Junior End User Support Engineer to join the Technology and Support department. Technology and Support is part of Norges Bank Investment Management Operations and has responsibility for our technology platform. We have recently moved our entire datacenter infrastructure to Public Cloud and taken internal operational responsibility of the IT estate. 
     
    The Role  
     
    The main objective of this entry level role is to ensure the services we provide to our end user are in line with the needs of our customers. End User Services is a central part of Norges Bank Investment Management’s Technology & Support Department and we are instrumental in delivering IT services to the organisation.

    You will be joining the global End User Services team from Norges Bank Investment Management Singapore office, and reporting to Head of End User Services. Some travel is required. Our Singapore team supports our Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo offices.

    Technically you will be learning about the following:

    • The full suite of Microsoft 365 services

    • Exposure to System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune device management 
    • Learning SCRUM and Agile methodologies
     
     
    Individual Requirements  
    We are looking for a curious people with some of the following characteristics :
    • B.Sc or M.Sc. in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline

    This role will support the Asian Trading Desk.  As such, there will be a requirement to work onsite shift patterns on rotation with the wider team to cover Asia trading hours (from 7.30 am local time).
