  • Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of Corporate Access Originator. The Corporate Access team supports portfolio manager interaction with senior management in relevant companies and raises awareness of Norges Bank Investment Management as an investor and owner. The team is part of the Equity Strategies area, which is responsible for security selection and ownership activities. Work with other investment areas is also likely.
    The position is located in London and will report to the Head of Corporate Access. Travel will be required.
     
    The Role
    As an Originator, you will be allocated sector coverage and within that be responsible for managing all corporate access and access-related relationships. This will include supporting portfolio managers with:
    • The origination and scheduling of bespoke field-trips and other direct access, including travel and logistics
    • The research, identification and execution of differentiated corporate access opportunities globally
    • Maintaining the fund’s relationships with companies in your sector
    • The coordination and scheduling of third-party facilitated access

    Other responsibilities will include:
    • Supporting with the organisation and scheduling of in-house conferences
    • Contributing to managing corporate access relationships with third party vendors, investment banks and buy-side peers
    • Administering the team inbox, internal databases and other ad hoc requests where needed

    The Role
    The main objective of the role is to deliver our IAM services including authentication and authorization, access requests, access provisioning, role and entitlement models and directory technologies. This position requires close collaboration with business users, system managers and service providers, and we are looking for a candidate with the ability to communicate well with non-technical end-users.
    As part of the IAM team, you will seek to continuously improve the way identities and access are provided to the business. We are looking to innovate in areas such as DevSecOps, Security Automation and using cloud native technology in order to improve NBIM’s security posture. We appreciate experience with scripting or programming and value an engineering mindset.

    • Programming skills (e.g. SQL, PowerShell or Python)

  • Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position of Network & Security Engineer as part of Technology and Support within our Network Services team.  Technology and Support is part of NBIM Operations and has responsibility for our technology platform and the daily support of systems and data loads. We have recently moved our entire datacentre infrastructure to Public Cloud and taken internal operational responsibility of the IT estate.  

    The position is in our London Offices and will report to the Head of Network Services located in London. Some travel will be required.

    The Role 
    Our entire technology architecture runs in the cloud. Our ambition is to make it even more service oriented and realise the opportunities for innovation that cloud solutions offer. The main objective of the role is to drive adoption of cloud and network services securely and improve the development & management of our programmable network architecture. We are looking to innovate in areas such as network automation, virtual network functions, and endpoint connectivity. As part of our global Network Security DevOps team you also will be working to maintain and develop our Network-as-Code and automation processes and support our current services.
    You will be providing support to ensure that the Network Security Platform and related Services are running optimally and smoothly, working closely with business and technical teams to investigate and re mediate critical incidents. The team will move fast by cross training, performing process automation and eliminating unnecessary actions. 

    This role will support the US Trading Desk.  As such, there will be a requirement to work onsite shift patterns on rotation with the wider team to cover US hours. You will be willing to work outside of core hours (i.e. US business hours) in a shift model Coverage will be from 8AM till 8PM, around shifts per sprint together with flexibility.

    The right candidate for this position will be motivated by this challenge and will help to develop our future ways of working. 
    As part of this position you will be working on some of the following tasks: 
    • Working collaboratively with the Network Services team to deploy, automate, maintain and operate network and cloud-based solutions and infrastructure
