26 October 2017

The jury describes the reporting as «an impressive piece of work», especially when it comes to the reporting on risk and results. The jury also commends the communication strategy, clear prioritisation, well-written texts, strong visuals and good design.

"We work hard to ensure transparency in our management of the Government Pension Fund Global. The annual reporting is one of many vehicles to this end. The Farmand award is a recognition of our efforts", says Trond Grande, deputy CEO of Norges Bank Investment Management.

Norges Bank Investment Management’s annual reporting consists of a main report and three publications with additional information on responsible investment, real estate investments and return and risk.

The website www.nbim.no is another important vehicle for transparency, including a full overview of the fund’s investments, voting records, advice to the Ministry of Finance, consultation submissions, research and analysis, and additional figures.

Farmandprisen is a Norwegian award for annual reporting. Norges Bank Investment Management competed in the category for public organisations. We have previously won the award in 2011, 2013 and 2016.
