NBIM Investment Talent Programme

The new NBIM Investment Talent Programme (ITP) seeks to attract highly educated and skilled candidates directly from university. “Just as we have a long-term perspective on our investments, we also invest long term in our employees,” says Yngve Slyngst

13 October 2009

NBIM’s success as one of the world’s largest investment funds is tied primarily to the quality of its employees. We attach great importance to recruitment, seeking the best talent in the investment industry.

“We are introducing the NBIM Investment Talent Programme to offer graduates a tailor-made development plan in line with NBIM’s strategy and values. We are looking for individuals with investment talent and leadership skills to become key contributors to the future success of NBIM. I believe the programme will play an important role in finding and training the future leaders and key specialists of NBIM,” says Slyngstad.

The candidates will take part in a four-year programme consisting of internal rotation periods within NBIM, exchange programmes with international investment institutions and an MBA degree from a top ranked business school. This unique and varied course of study provides excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

NBIM will participate in career days at major universities this autumn to present the Investment Talent Programme and NBIM as an employer.
