Updated water expectation document

Water management has been a focus area for the fund for many years. Limited supplies of water and water quality are a growing risk for many companies. The purpose of these expectations is to express how Norges Bank Investment Management, as a financial investor, expects companies to manage the challenges and opportunities surrounding water resources.
This includes strategy and investment planning, risk management, and disclosure and reporting. We have also put emphasis on how companies should be transparent on their interaction with policy makers and regulators on water related challenges.
Our expectations are primarily directed at company boards and serve as a starting point for our interaction with companies on the topic of water management.
