  • The Role
    As the successful applicant you will be part of a team responsible for the daily valuation of fixed income and equity asset classes as well as overall net asset value for the fund. You will work closely with internal teams to implement and maintain robust operational processes supporting the management of the portfolio.

    What you will do 
    Main responsibilities This is a collaborative environment conducive to working on some of the following tasks:
    • Quality assurance for the daily and monthly position level NAV and performance of the fund
    • Developing, supporting, and managing the daily calculation of analytics for the fund’s portfolio of fixed income instruments
    • Quality control of our internal and external benchmarks – from constituent level to top level aggregates, working with internal teams and external benchmark vendors
    • Follow-up external pricing providers to ensure best-market practice and efficient processes

    What you need 
    • Master's degree with strong academic records 
    • Previous experience from asset management is desirable but not a requirement. Newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply.

    • Technical skills in computer science, or an interest in developing new computer science skills, including Python, AWS, and SQL

    What you will do 
    The position will be part of our global Cyber Security Response Team and Cloud Security Engineers that have a significant role in driving technology innovation in our CTO area. It will assume responsibility for monitoring during European Operations, acting as an escalation point for our security providers.

    The position will work alongside Security Architects and Cloud Security Engineers that has a central role in driving technology innovation in our CTO area.     We are seeking a dedicated and results-orientated System Manager to join the Systems Core Delivery Team within the Technology area. Systems Core has responsibility for the management and strategic development of our core investment systems, applications, services, and processes.     The Role
    As the successful applicant you will be part of a team responsible for the daily valuation of fixed income and equity asset classes as well as overall net asset value for the fund. You will work closely with internal teams to implement and maintain robust operational processes supporting the management of the portfolio.

    What you will do 
    This is a collaborative environment conducive to working on some of the following tasks:
    • Developing, supporting, and managing the daily calculation of analytics for the fund’s portfolio of fixed income instruments
    • Working hands on with the overall market value of the fund and ongoing performance and attribution
    • Follow-up external pricing providers to ensure best-market practice and efficient processes
    • Sign off quarterly valuation and report to the leader group
    • Contributing to the development of internal tools and models using the latest available technology including cloud-based services
    • Championing and driving forward the development of the team’s function with a focus on automation

    What you need
    • Master's degree with strong academic records 
    • Previous experience from asset management is desirable but not a requirement. Newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply.
    • Candidates with a pure technical background will be considered given a demonstrated motivation for working with financial instruments and valuation
    • Technical skills in computer science, or an interest in developing new computer science skills, including Python, AWS, and SQL

  • Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results-orientated professional for the position of Security Engineer within the Security Operations team. Our mission is to ensure cyber resilience for the best global investment fund in the world.

    What you will do 
    The position will be part of our global Cyber Security Response Team and Cloud Security Engineers that have a significant role in driving technology innovation in our CTO area. It will assume responsibility for monitoring during US Operations, acting as an escalation point for our security providers.
    As the successful candidate you will have a keen interest and broad understanding of cyber security, cloud technology and cyber threats. As a great communicator, you will use your skills to collaborate closely with business users, system managers and stakeholders such as senior management.
    You will work with the latest technology based on public cloud solutions and modern ways of working, e.g. agile, DevOps, policies and detections as code.
    The role will actively participate in incident response and exercises, create detections based on threat intelligence and research, and perform what is necessary to ensure our assets are protected, such as process continuous improvement.

    The role may be subject to a compensated on-call duty during weekends and holidays.
    The role reports to the Head of Security Operations and is based in New York. Some travel is required.

    In this role these are some of the tasks you will be working on:
    • Participating in purple team exercises with world-class opponents
    • Improving cyber security detection and response processes
    • Establishing automation for enrichment and analysis of security events
    • Analysing security events and alerts 
    • Participating in cybersecurity incident handling
    • Security testing planning and managing vulnerabilities

    What you need 
    • 2+ years’ experience working as a security engineer/analyst
    • Good understanding of operating systems and ability to identify malicious behaviour
    • Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash or Python) and an automation mindset
    • Experience from incident response is preferred
    • Experience from cloud environments is preferred
