Equity
The fund shall invest 60 percent of its assets in international equities. It shall have 50 percent of these investments in Europe, 35 percent in the Americas, Africa and the Middle East and 15 percent in Asia and Oceania.
Equity investments accounted for 55.6 percent of the fund's investments at the end of the third quarter of 2011 and had a market value of 1,699 billion kroner. The investments returned -16.9 percent, measured in international currency. The result was 0.5 percentage point lower than the return on the fund's benchmark equity index.
