Petter Johnsen

Petter Johnsen was named Chief Investment Officer for Equities on 1 April 2011. Johnsen joined NBIM on 1 September 2003 as a portfolio manager, a position he held until August 2010, when he was named Global Head of Sector Strategies.

Prior to joining NBIM, Johnsen was Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch in London between October 2000 and August 2003. He previously worked as a research analyst at Morgan Stanley in London.

Johnsen has a Master of Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
